Taylor Swift shares new playlist so you can listen to her favourite songs

Taylor Swift has shared the songs she loves in her own taylor-made (ahem) Spotify playlist.

The singer compiled the 70-song long playlist, simply titled ‘Songs Taylor Loves‘, on the music streaming service this week and it features a whole range of music and styles, from pop to country to … Liam Gallagher, surprisingly enough.

And while there are – unsurprisingly – no Katy Perry or Kanye tracks, there are tunes from the likes of Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Niall Horan, Kesha, Shawn Mendes, Ariana Grande, Halsey and Coldplay.

You can see the whole playlist for yourself right here:

In the list are tracks from some of Taylor’s undisputed BFFs, with Ed Sheeran’s ‘Perfect’, Selena Gomez’s ‘Nobody’ and Haim’s ‘Ready for You’ all making the cut.

Although more surprising is the fact that none of friend Lorde’s songs make the list, which comes a few months after Lorde apologised for comparing having a famous friend to “a friend with an autoimmune disease” and denied she was referring to Taylor with the comment.

Still, what else has made the list of songs Taylor loves?

Well, her 1989 and reputation co-writer Jack Antonoff’s band Bleachers gets an honourable mention with their track ‘Let’s Get Married’, while Kesha’s ‘Learn to Let Go’ also makes the grade, along with Miley Cyrus tune ‘Malibu’, Niall Horan’s ‘Too Much To Ask’ and Lady Gaga’s ‘The Cure’.

But only a lucky few artists got mentioned twice – and Rihanna was one of the chosen ones, alongside Lana Del Rey.

Both of Rihanna’s tracks were taken from her latest album ANTI, with ‘Close To You’, an unreleased emotional ballad (and our favourite ANTI track) coming first, while ‘Kiss It Better’ follows shortly down the pecking order.

In Lana’s case, the first track Taylor’s loving is ‘Love’, taken from Lana’s new album Lust for Life, while the second track is the album’s collaboration with Sean Ono Lennon on ‘Tomorrow Never Came’.

It all comes as Taylor gears up to release her sixth studio album reputation, which is due out on November 10.
