X Factor winner Matt Terry announces first single from his debut album – and it’s coming really soon

Hot off the success of his Spanish track remix ‘Subeme La Radio’, X Factor winner Matt Terry has announced when we can get our hands on his new single.

‘Sucker for You’ is the first single from his debut album and we haven’t got long to wait for it – it gets its general release on October 13 (that’s this Friday).

Matt has co-written the track, which he says is his take on “darker love”.

He said: “We’ve all been in that position when we know a relationship is toxic and not good for us, but sometimes we ignore it and refuse to let go. I wrote this song when I was going through exactly that.

“The lyrics tell a tale of heartbreak, but the melody isn’t sad or depressing – because I’ve come out the other side and I’m happy now.”

And this is just the start for the winner of 2016’s X Factor.

Matt added: “I’m so excited for people to hear my new material. So far people know me as the guy who won X Factor. But when I look back on this time last year, I can’t quite believe how far I’ve come.

“I’m so grateful for where I am now, and I’m happier than I’ve ever been. I can’t wait for the next step in my journey.”

Matt Terry’s ‘Sucker for You’ is released on October 13.

The shortlist for ‘Celebrity Mum of the Year Award 2017’ has been announced

The British public have spoken and have nominated their most loved celebrity mum of the year but is your favourite on the list?

It’s been a year of celebrity mums announcing they’re pregnant and giving birth. Cheryl and Liam Payne welcomed their first child, a baby boy called Bear Grey Payne, The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton recently confirmed she’s expecting baby number three and Coleen Rooney also announced her three sons Kai, Klay and Kit are going to have a new brother or sister. Made In Chelsea star Binky Felstead welcomed baby India, her first child with co-star Joshua ‘JP’ Patterson and former TOWIE star Amy Childs gave birth to a daughter named Polly.

Now, the shortlist for the 3D-lipo ‘Celebrity Mum of The Year Award 2017’ has been announced and we can’t decide which celebrity mum we think should win.

This award has been running for a whopping 16 years and is dedicated to honour the celebrity mum who has best demonstrated her ability to balance her role as a celebrity and being a mother.

Past winners include Billie Faiers, Giovanna Fetcher, Holly Willoughby, Katie Price and Stacey Solomon.

This year is totally different though and none of the past winners are up for the award. These are the celebrity mums you can vote for this year:

This year’s list includes reality stars, singers and even royalty.

Amal Clooney

George Clooney’s wife Amal gave birth to twins in June this year. She welcomed Ella and Alexander into the world and have kept them fairly private from the spotlight.

Amy Childs

Original TOWIE star Amy Childs gave birth to her first child Polly this year. The reality star has posted the sweetest snaps of her little girl and although she split from her baby daddy Bradley Wright she has assured everyone, “Brad will of course see Polly whenever he likes and they will remain friends.”

Coleen Rooney

WAG Coleen hasn’t had the easiest of times this year. It was all going well in the summer and the yummy mummy even confirmed she’s pregnant with her fourth child before husband Wayne was arrested for drink driving.

Emily Andre

Emily and her husband Peter Andre welcomed their second child together Theodore last year but have kept him and his older sister Amelia out of the spotlight. Pete regularly tells everyone that his wife isn’t fond of him posting photos of their children online but that hasn’t stopped him.

Cheryl Tweedy

Of course, one of the most know celebrity pregnancy this year was Cheryl Tweedy and Liam Payne. The happy couple only confirmed the news after they stepped out in London with Chezza’s big bump. We still haven’t seen a photo of Bear Grey Payne but apparently he’s the spitting image of his dad.

Kate Middleton

The Duchess of Cambridge is pregnant with her third child. The gorgeous mum and Prince William, who are already parents to Prince George and Princess Charlotte, confirmed the news in a statement.

Binky Felstead

Our favourite Made in Chelsea star and her co-star Josh Patterson welcomed their first child together earlier this year – India. The reality stars had actually split before their pregnancy news but reunited while Binks was pregnant.

Anna Saccone-Joly

Vlogger and mum-of-three Anna Saccone-Joly is also up for the award. She is a mum to Emilia who is four, Eduardo who is two and a six-month-old daughter.

Faryal Makhdoom

Faryal Makhdoom and her husband Amir Khan have split following a Twitter row and cheating accusations. Shortly after their bitter separation, the 26-year-old model announced she’s pregnant with her second child but will be raising her little one alone.

Geri Horner

Spice Girl Geri Horner welcomed her second child, son Monty, into the world at the age of 44-years-old and has described conceiving naturally in her fourties as “a miracle”. She also has a daughter named Bluebell.

Voting is open until Friday 13th October 2017 here.

10 things that always happen at the cinema

Going to the cinema is fun but here are some things that are guaranteed to happen…

1. The infamous Pic n’ Mix prices

Looks like we’ll have to put some of these jelly snakes back.

2. A tall person sitting in front of us

This always happens. We start out thinking we have an amazing view of the screen and then someone the size of a tree sits in front of us!

3. The false start

“Oh, it’s starting…” Those words said excitedly as the lights dim only to discover it’s actually only the trailers.

4. “I want to see that!”

Admit it, you’ve said this after almost every trailer but haven’t been to see any of them.

5. Someone having a coughing fit

I hope you’re okay and everything, but could you please stand outside?

6. Someone doesn’t put their phone on silent

And about 40 minutes into the film their ringtone will blast out.

7. The noisy eaters

From rustling popcorn, to slurping on a soft drink, those noisy eaters really can ruin a movie moment!

8. Smelly food

Almost as bad a noisy food is smelly food. Cheesy nachos and hot dogs are the worst culprits. And what a surprise, they are sat near you.

9. Loud children

It’s probably our own fault for going to see a Disney movie.

10. Talkers

Whether it’s questions about what is going to happen next or nothing to do with the film, these people can never stay quiet. We’re too polite to say anything so we simply tut.

Pink announces Beautiful Trauma World Tour 2018 along with a new single, ‘Whatever You Want’

It’s time to get this party started because not only has Pink just announced an upcoming world tour, she’s also dropped a brand new single for our listening pleasure.

In news that will excite fans everywhere, Pink will be kicking off the Beautiful Trauma World Tour in Phoenix, Arizona next March (via E! News).

Tickets for the 40-date tour go on a general sale on Friday, October 13, which isn’t so unlucky after all.

It’s time to get this party started because not only has Pink just announced an upcoming world tour, she’s also dropped a brand new single for our listening pleasure.

But that’s not all Pink has got in store for her fans, she’s also released another new song from her upcoming album Beautiful Trauma called ‘Whatever You Want’.

And it sounds like she’s come good on that promise.

Because not only can you listen to Pink’s latest track in all the usual places, the singer and all-round icon has also created a documentary about the making of her seventh album.

Titled Beautiful Trauma as well, Pink teased the documentary – made in partnership with Apple Music – on Twitter earlier today.

If her musical generosity isn’t enough to make you fall in love with Pink, then her love affair with TV drama Grey’s Anatomy just might instead.

Revealing that she was about to rewatch the series for the third time, Pink proved that she was all of us, tweeting: “I may or may not be watching the first episode of Greys for the third time.

“I’m also probably not crying and I’m definitely not nuts.”

Frozen’s Broadway musical could be coming to the West End

As if Frozen fans weren’t already being spoiled – what with a sequel and a musical run on Broadway coming up – there are now whispers of the production heading to the West End.

For the first time in forever, rumour has it that the musical will head to London’s West End after it finishes its run on Broadway next year.

And no, we’re not ready to let the rumour go.

According to the Daily Mail‘s Baz Bamigboye, the Theatre Royal Drury Lane is eyeing up the production following its proposed renovation.

“Theatre Royal Drury Lane is theatre ‘of interest’ for @FrozenBroadway – could re-open Drury Lane following restoration in 2020,” Bamigboye wrote. “Early days.”

But if you can’t wait until 2020 for a West End run, then you could always head over to New York, where Frozen will hit the stage next year.

The long-awaited Broadway adaptation of the Disney classic is set to open at the legendary St James Theatre on March 22, 2018, with previews starting on February 22.

Taylor Swift shares new playlist so you can listen to her favourite songs

Taylor Swift has shared the songs she loves in her own taylor-made (ahem) Spotify playlist.

The singer compiled the 70-song long playlist, simply titled ‘Songs Taylor Loves‘, on the music streaming service this week and it features a whole range of music and styles, from pop to country to … Liam Gallagher, surprisingly enough.

And while there are – unsurprisingly – no Katy Perry or Kanye tracks, there are tunes from the likes of Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Niall Horan, Kesha, Shawn Mendes, Ariana Grande, Halsey and Coldplay.

You can see the whole playlist for yourself right here:

In the list are tracks from some of Taylor’s undisputed BFFs, with Ed Sheeran’s ‘Perfect’, Selena Gomez’s ‘Nobody’ and Haim’s ‘Ready for You’ all making the cut.

Although more surprising is the fact that none of friend Lorde’s songs make the list, which comes a few months after Lorde apologised for comparing having a famous friend to “a friend with an autoimmune disease” and denied she was referring to Taylor with the comment.

Still, what else has made the list of songs Taylor loves?

Well, her 1989 and reputation co-writer Jack Antonoff’s band Bleachers gets an honourable mention with their track ‘Let’s Get Married’, while Kesha’s ‘Learn to Let Go’ also makes the grade, along with Miley Cyrus tune ‘Malibu’, Niall Horan’s ‘Too Much To Ask’ and Lady Gaga’s ‘The Cure’.

But only a lucky few artists got mentioned twice – and Rihanna was one of the chosen ones, alongside Lana Del Rey.

Both of Rihanna’s tracks were taken from her latest album ANTI, with ‘Close To You’, an unreleased emotional ballad (and our favourite ANTI track) coming first, while ‘Kiss It Better’ follows shortly down the pecking order.

In Lana’s case, the first track Taylor’s loving is ‘Love’, taken from Lana’s new album Lust for Life, while the second track is the album’s collaboration with Sean Ono Lennon on ‘Tomorrow Never Came’.

It all comes as Taylor gears up to release her sixth studio album reputation, which is due out on November 10.

Niall Horan seeks out Irish stars for new tour

Niall Horan is on a mission to recruit Irish bands and artists for his upcoming tour.

The One Direction star has branched out on his own since the boyband went on hiatus in 2015, and has so far released singles This Town and Slow Hands.

He’ll embark on his Flicker Sessions tour, which kicks off in Dublin, the capital of his home country, on 29 August (17) before taking in dates across the world, ending in San Francisco, California in November.

Niall will be joined on the road by a host of up-and-coming music stars, with many hailing from his native Ireland.

“So for my shows I wanted to make it as Irish as possible and show off the incredible music coming out of our lovely little country,” he tweeted to his 32.3 million followers on Tuesday (15Aug17), followed by an Irish flag emoji.

“So I asked around to see who was available and we got some great replies, so happy with this.”

The bands that have so far been announced include Wild Youth, who’ll play at the Olympia Theatre in Dublin, Picture This, who’ll be at the London and Stockholm shows, and singer Gavin James, who’s heading to America and Canada with Niall. +

American musican Corey Harper will also play some dates, and Niall added, “@coreyharp is obviously American but I wanted to share how great this guy is.”

Fans were delighted with the news that the 23-year-old star is keen to support Irish talent, with many exclaiming they were proud of him and calling the move “cute”.

As well as Europe and the U.S., Niall will stop off in South America, Australia and Japan.
